A Gold winner at the Master Builders House of the Year awards 2023, and a Tida Homes Highly commended at 2023 Trends awards. This home is the epitome of luxury. It combines the perfect mix of sophistication and coziness for the ultimate living experience.
The home has a high-end wine country vibe that's both organic and timeless. As you walk into the living room, the extra-high ceilings make a bold statement, adding to the overall grandeur of the space. Creating a welcoming and cosy ambiance was paramount in this project. We seamlessly wove organic tones and textures into the design, fostering an inviting atmosphere throughout the home. Layering hints of brass, warm tones, muted blacks, earthy rattans, and large looped rugs added homely warmth without compromising sophistication. Thoughtful lighting played a crucial role, enhancing warmth in various spaces and softening the mood in the bathrooms.
The kitchen steals the spotlight, featuring a strategically positioned seating area bathed in sunlight for inviting conversations. An oversized rattan pendant light was selected to balance proportions and create a visual focal point. Exterior cladding on the back of the island bench ties in exterior colours, offering an organic and timeless aesthetic.
Navigating the vast open space presented a unique challenge. Choosing warmer whites on walls and ceilings, complemented by generous skirting boards, maintained proportional balance. Introducing touches of black in furniture and a custom textured rug added depth and cosiness, eliminating echoes and softening the expansive area.
Leaving the front window untreated was an artful decision, allowing the view to take centre stage and we seamlessly tied in the accessories with the earthy colours seen outside.
Each detail of the home is thoughtfully designed with high-end finishes and attention to detail, creating an atmosphere of refinement and sophistication. With layered textures and luxurious materials throughout, this space is both elegant and inviting.
