Bling, Glamour, and Wine: The Ultimate Kitchen and Wardrobe Design

The client's vision for this project encompassed a sleek, black kitchen with the inclusion of wine and glass displays, a touch of glamour, and a cohesive design that harmonized with the overall aesthetic of the home. The challenge was to integrate these elements while maintaining a sense of uniqueness and distinction.

In response to the client's aspirations, I designed this kitchen to not only fulfilled their desire for a predominantly black colour scheme but also introduced a balance of texture and warmth to break up the dark palette. The choice of a warm wood grain black, Laminex shade, added depth and a touch of natural elegance to the kitchen.

To infuse the desired touch of glamour and luxury, I incorporated a high-gloss veined tile splashback that extended seamlessly onto the adjacent shelf, creating a visual centerpiece and adding that touch of "bling" the client was after.

To maintain a sleek and modern appearance, a downdraft range was selected, preserving the kitchen's clean lines. Earth-toned benchtops were introduced to provide a timeless quality and a sense of warmth, harmonizing with the overall design.

For that extra touch of opulence and uniqueness, we integrated feature lighting that not only illuminated the space but also added a sense of grandeur to the kitchen.

In a bid to create something truly distinctive, we included a hidden scullery, utilizing space borrowed from the hallway behind the kitchen. This not only maximized functionality but also lent a touch of exclusivity to the design.

The bedroom next door to the master bedroom was also removed and has been transformed into a luxurious walk in wardrobe which is inspired by the Old Hollywood and Art Deco era. With a moody and mysterious ambiance, this women’s-only space offers the perfect place to get ready in style.
